Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) Right

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

Very interesting Hadith that was forwarded to me. I wanted to share with you guys.

I pray that each of us with Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى)’s help are able to worship Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) in the bestest manner. Aameen.

Metal Hijab

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

I want to share something funny and ignorant act that I faced because of my hijab.

Few days ago I had gone to the Doctors office with a friend, to get her MRI done. She wanted me to come inside with her, as she was scared and didn’t know what is going to take place.

So we went inside and the guy (Asian looking man maybe in his 30’s) asks me if I have any metals on my head!

Excuse me? Metals in my head? I laughed at him. He looked at me and I realized he was pointing at my hijab.

My friend, who is not doing hijab, responded that I don’t have any metal in my head.

I was so surprised about his ignorant and lack of knowledge. But I realized, maybe I am the first hijabi he has seen in his life!

Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) Alone

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

Just a reminder to all of us, especially me, that Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) Alone is our God. None is worthy to worship except Him.

Prayers for Nepal

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

Brothers and Sisters in Islam, please keep Nepal in your prayers and duas.

May Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) help them, give them sabr, give them good health, provide ease, and most of all may Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) who passed away wipe their sins and give them place in Jannat. Aameen.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ‎) for those passed away.

Friend or Enemy of Islam

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

I came across this image and I thought I’d share with you. It is scary because it is about each of us (some more than others) and what are we going to say to Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى)? How are we going to face Him?

May Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) save us and give us proper knowledge and Hidaya that we can be excellent slaves of His. Aameen.

Stylish

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

I would like to take a moment to say that you may have noticed, I have become quite slow in blogging.

The reason behind that is I am helping a Muslimah sister with her business known as Stylish, on Facebook. I am assisting her to settle in and do online/social marketing for her.

Jazaka’Allah Khair ( جزاك اللهُ خيراً) for understanding and In Sha’Allah ( إن شاء الله) will try to update the blog as frequently as possible.

Please remember me in your duas.

Month of Rajab

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

I love Muhammed (SAW) (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ), so I would like to share anything and everything I could about him.

If I come across something like a Hadiths, sayings, & etc I will In Sha’Allah ( إن شاء الله) try to share with you.

Did you know Muhammed (SAW) (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ) said many Duas for different seasons, time, people, circumstances, and etc. I had never realized the treasure of duas he, Muhammed (SAW) (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ), left behind him for us, his Ummah.

So let us take that treasure and bring close to our heart by making it part of our lives In Sha’Allah ( إن شاء الله)!

Best part about this blog is that I know I am not the only one learning, we all are struggling daily but with each other’s help and duas, In Sha’Allah ( إن شاء الله) we can make little changes In Sha’Allah ( إن شاء الله), for the sake of Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) and May he grant us patience and Barakat Aameen.

Here is the dua for Rajab

May Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) bless us and may we benefit in this life and hereafter. Aameen

Life is a Journey

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

I saw this image and I wanted to really share this with you. It deeply touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes.

Please take a moment to ponder over this and feel free to let your loved ones know about this Blog, so they too can learn and share proper Daw’ah.

May Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) help each and every one of us to be successful in our deen. Aameen

Role Model In Islam

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته)

We all go through different stages of like as we grow older and eventually we change as well.

As a child my super hero and role models were my parents. In teen years my role models change to TV and movie celebs, yet I never was satisfied.

Now I realized why I never used to be satisfied, because in Islam there is no place for such role models. Celebrities and models take us very far from our deen Astagfirrullah (May Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) forgive me).

Our role models should be none other than Muhammed (SAW) (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ), his wives, and his Companions!

Many of us are struggling with relationship, with our parents, spouses, children, & siblings on daily basis. I used to get angry really fast but Alhumdulillah ( الحمد لله) by doing hijab and researching and teaching myself Islam, I realized the importance of each relationship.

It’s so easy to get upset and judge each other, so let’s help each other, (I do need your help!) whenever we are in sticky situation and before drawing a judgment call, yelling, and/or cussing, imagine what our role models (in my case Muhammed (SAW) (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ )) would have done!

Please make dua for me that I am able to handle the situation(s) more appropriately and maturely. Aameen.

Brotherhood or Ummah

Assalam’Alaikum ( السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته).

Did you know the concept of Brotherhood/Sisterhood in Islam, makes this beautiful seen different from other religions?

To believe and follow the concept of Brotherhood/Sisterhood is a Sunnah of Muhammed (SAW) (صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ ).

This is what makes us united. Regardless of color, creed, knowledge, education, background, wealth status, region, and etc. it makes us Ummah!

Let us strive for that for our coming generation In Sha’Allah ( إن شاء الله) instead of being divided, let’s once again become One Ummah.

May Allah (SWT) ( الله سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى) help us, guide us, and keep us as One Ummah. Aameen.
